All Vive Trackers have sold out

The sale started last week and already the HTC Vive sold out of its first initial batch of Trackers created for developers. Despite this, the company is accepting new orders for future purchase.

The Vive Tracker can turn every additional connected item into a motion tracker. Thanks to Steam Tracker’s technology, wireless controllers can be made from gloves, cameras, guns and other items. These changes will allow developers to design items that are sometimes difficult to imitate on gamepads. Also, the Tracker allows for a more immersive VR experience.

The device costs $99 in the US (not including shipping costs), €120 in Europe, and £100 in the UK. The set includes one tracker, USB cable, the AC adapter and a transmitter with 2.4 GHz.
