LG develops VR headset with Valve

LG decided to become a part of perspective market of VR. South Korea company will demonstrate the prototype of a VR head-mounted display at the Game Developer Conference in San Francisco this week.

It isn’t the first try of the company. Last year they represented the mobile goggles VR 360 for owners of smartphones G5. However this project didn’t succeed and in year it was forgotten. So LG appealed to Valve, which has pretty well technology of movements tracking in the space of Steam VR.

Nowadays we’ve got no information about new headset of LG, but Valve confirmed that it’s "stand-alone, SteamVR-compatible unit for use with desktops." The price will be known later.
