HTC Vive announced its own VR game and subsidiary company

HTC Vive is going to start running its own development and publishing company called HTC Vive Studios for the VR market. It will release games of own production and those of other companies. The studio’s first project will be Arcade Saga.

This game was created by an internal group called 2 Bears. Arcade Saga is a combination of archery and the game Breakout. It consists of 84 levels of mini-games. The sale started on Steam and HTC’s Viveport store. The price is $29.99.

Many specialists perceived HTC Vive Studios as a reference to Oculus Studios. While Oculus Studios is oriented to home users, HTC is focused on their corporate partners and the arcade business. Also, HTC Vive Studios interests lie in “games, education, cinematic, design, social, real estate, and sports.”
