Head-mount for the HTC Vive funded by Kickstarter

Thanks to Kickstarter, “the funding platform for creative projects”, the HTC Vive received $30,000 for rEvolve, a head-mounted creation.

The founders of the company SynergyWiz realized that the HTC Vive has some shortcomings. There is no joint between the display package and head fixation that allows the user to take the helmet up without putting it of. This is why SynergyWiz decided to create a head-mount. The new project does not require additional modification of the base device.

Originally the company was only going to ask for $5000 in support. That goal was quickly achieved and after some time the plan was exceeded. A week before the end of the campaign the amount in the company’s Kickstarter account exceeded the original goal 6 times over.
