‘Finch’ Controller will make every smartphone a VR-kit

‘Finch’ is a cross functional controller that uses a glove with sensors. This gadget focuses on the mobile VR segment. Finch can track hand motions, recognize gestures and even small finger movement.

A mini touchpad is placed on one’s pointer finger and by using a simple, common system of gestures this helps people to adapt to it quickly. Players will only need to use their smartphones and glasses to submerge into this form of virtual reality. Not only that, but this gadget works with computers and VR helmets.

‘The Controller will allow users to make use of all the capabilities of VR without expensive stationary systems. In the near future, we will release a new set of equipment for Finch adaptation for several VR platforms such as Daydream, Steam VR and Leap Motion – said CEO Finch VR Aleksey Kartashev.

Sending the first batch of controllers out for pre-order will be before the end of the year. The release of the user version, which will be cheaper, will be in the second half of the 2017. Clients will be able to order complete equipment units for one or two hands.
